The Fun & Play School is a ministry of First Presbyterian Church in Spring Hill, TN. Our "Mother’s Day Out Program" is designed for preschool-aged children (potty-trained 3-year-olds by August 15th through pre-K)! We have two class programs; Tue/Thu or Mon/Wed from 9 am to 2 pm, running from August to May. We create a delightful blend of fun and learning in a nurturing Christian environment, ensuring your child gets a head start on their education. Through captivating stories, vibrant arts and crafts, and engaging playdough activities, we focus on developing essential academic and social skills. We share Bible stories and songs that highlight God's incredible love for every child and our world! For more details, check out the Parent Handbook below.
Ages
Our "Mother’s Day Out Program" is designed for preschool-aged children ages 3-5 years old. (must be potty trained and age 3 by August 15th)
Program Days & Times
We have two class programs running from August to May;
o Tue/Thu from 9am- 2pm
o Mon/Wed from 9am- 2pm
Costs
o $55 Registration Fee
o $205 Monthly Tuition.

-Sibling Discount Rate is $185 per month per sibling attending at the same time.

Ms. Anna
Program Director & Teacher
Ms. Anna has served as the Director of Fun and Play School since 2022, following a lifelong dedication to youth ministry and Christian education. After growing up at First Presbyterian Church in Spring Hill, she earned a Mass Communications degree from East Tennessee State University and returned to Spring Hill in 2003 to continue her children's ministry work and joined Fun and Play School as a teacher in 2021 before being promoted to Director the next year. Outside of her leadership role, she still actively volunteers at her church by helping with the nursery, children's sermons, and media communications. Ms. Anna currently lives in Thompson's Station with her husband, three sons, an old dog, and a 10-year-old inherited leopard gecko.
Ms. Linda
Teacher
A native of small town Western Massachusetts, Ms. Linda moved to Tennessee 10 years ago. She has three children and three grandsons who are her constant joy. After spending over 30 years in a municipal position she moved to Tennessee to support her sister and has called Tennessee home ever since. After volunteering at the children's ministry at her church, her love for serving young children began. Ms. Linda found a little posse of children to play with and was hooked. Seeing your children's smiling faces when they walk in the door is a glimpse of heaven on earth. In her free time you will find Ms. Linda outdoors gardening, hiking, and collecting cool rocks and sticks.
Ms. Stephanie
Teacher
​Ms. Stephanie lives in Thompson’s Station with her husband and two teenage sons. They have been active members at Spring Hill First Presbyterian Church for 10 years. Ms. Stephanie sings in the choir and also serves as the Sunday School Superintendent. She first started as a substitute teacher at Fun and Play School and became a full-time teacher in 2024. She loves to cook, bake (macarons are her specialty), and read!
Ms. Theresa
Teacher
Ms. Theresa is a Teacher’s Assistant at Fun and Play School with over 20 years of experience working with children. Before moving to Tennessee in 2021 to be closer to her grandchildren, she worked as a nanny. One of her grandchildren currently attends Fun and Play School, making her role even more special. In her free time, Theresa enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, exercising, baking, cooking, and watching movies. She is passionate about helping children learn, grow, and feel loved every day.
